Table Lighter Tamo

Tamo, sometimes called Japanese ash burl, is one of the rarest and most sought-after figured woods used in fine woodworking. Its dramatic, rippled figure only becomes available once the tree has died naturally — the burl can't be harvested any other way, which means availability is limited by nature, not by us. Every Tamo piece is genuinely one-of-a-kind.

For all the rarity of the material, it is built to be used. The 2.2 kg body stays put on a table while you turn a cigar above the flame, and the butane torch burns clean and wind-resistant — no petrol taste carried into the first third, which is where a good cigar shows its construction.
