Ashtray Large Calacatta

Calacatta is quarried in the same Apuan Alps region as Carrara marble, prized for centuries for its brilliant white body and bold veining. This accessory is as much a piece of furniture as a functional object — an investment in something built to hold its splendour over time.

At 20 cm across it is sized for two cigar smokers rather than one, with a bowl deep enough to take the long ash of a Churchill and rests cut wide enough for a 54 ring gauge. The mass matters in use: five kilos of marble will not shift when a cigar is set down, and the stone stays cool beneath a lit foot.
