Humidor Emperador for Lacquered Bar Cabinet

Price: €3.990,00 Regular price:

Emperador marble ranges from dark brown to beige, threaded with golden and white veins — a material that adds warmth and refinement wherever it's used. Here it forms the humidor insert designed to pair with the Litolite Lacquered Bar Cabinet, though it stands beautifully on its own too.

Why the weight is an advantage

Forty kilos of stone is not a styling decision. Marble carries high thermal mass, which means the interior temperature moves slowly even when the room around it does not — the afternoon sun on a window, the heating coming on in the evening. For cigars, that inertia is worth more than any specification on a data sheet, because slow change is what ageing tobacco needs.

Humidification without maintenance

The humidity comes from Boveda packs, a two-way system: they release moisture when the interior dries out and reabsorb it when the level rises, so the humidor holds a flat line rather than a sawtooth. Nothing to fill, nothing to calibrate — the packs are replaced when they stiffen, usually every two to four months. An automatic ventilation system moves that air through the interior so the humidity is the same at the back as at the front, and internal LED lighting lifts the veining of the stone whenever the door is open.

Capacity and care

The 150+ figure is measured on a standard Robusto; larger gauges reduce it, slimmer vitolas increase it. The drawer fronts are solid oak rather than veneer, so they hold their shape against the humidity differential across the panel. Keep the humidor below roughly 21 °C and away from direct sun — above about 24 °C tobacco beetle eggs can hatch inside a cigar. Marble is cleaned with a soft, barely damp cloth: never use limescale removers or acidic products, which etch polished stone permanently.
