Table Lighter Calacatta Bianco

Calacatta Bianco is quarried in the same Apuan Alps region as Carrara marble, a stone whose history stretches back to Roman times and whose white, faintly bluish veins have made it a favourite of sculptors and architects for centuries. Its smooth, polished surface catches the light in a way few materials can.

Each piece is unique, cut from a single block and finished by hand, which makes this lighter as much a small decorative object as a functional one, at home on a desk, a bar cart, or beside a favourite chair.

In use it behaves like a piece of equipment rather than an ornament: the marble body keeps the lighter planted on the table while you toast the foot of a cigar, and the butane torch flame holds steady outdoors. Butane matters here, because petrol lighters leave their taste on the first third of a cigar, which is exactly where a well-rolled one shows its construction.
